Do you ever wonder what gifts to get your significant other for Valentine’s Day? Whether you’re with someone, just interested in them, or being a good friend, it’s a good idea to get a gift for a loved one this holiday season! Do you need some ideas? Well you’re in luck- as we asked some people at HHS what they’d recommend.
Chocolates seemed to be a popular choice. Mya Andrlik said, “chocolates in a heart-shaped box” would be at the top of her list. Mrs. Phillips is hoping for some sea salt milk chocolates. Kaleb Rasmussen said that the way to his heart is “Chocolate- for sure.” Hayward has many options on where to find quality chocolate, but we recommend Lynne Marie’s or Tremblay’s for these goodies.
A popular request from female students is flowers. Addison Steine would love some flowers, “…specifically tulips.” Justice Shumate also would love to receive some flowers from her admirers. A good place to buy fancy flowers would be Bonnie’s Floral or Silverstar Market, or you can get nice bouquets from Walmart or Marketplace as well.
While chocolate and flowers are by far the most popular items, Other students have interest in money or gift cards from their loved ones. Rocco Goold is hoping for money while Ava Pettibone is hoping for a Selah gift card. We’ve also heard requests for handwritten love letters, quality time together, dinner out, and even one student said a new snowmobile is the key to his heart.
So get out there, make a plan, and have a great Valentine’s Day!
