Mr. Carey 
Mr. Carey is new to the Tech Ed. Department this year! It is also his first year ever teaching in a traditional classroom. He does, however, have experience in a teaching setting with Wrenching for the Future, where he built a car by hand with high school students from different schools. Mr. Carey’s favorite grade to teach is the seniors because of their excitement and passion for learning! So far, Mr. Carey loves teaching at HHS. Some of his hobbies include fishing, hunting and building/working on cars. One fun fact about Mr. Carey: he owns a Hermann’s Tortoise!
Mrs. Petrie
Mrs. Petrie is new to the computer tech department as of this year! She taught Spanish for seven years in Solon Springs, where she is from. Her favorite grade range to interact with is elementary level because they are exciting to learn and are very engaging. Mrs. Petrie enjoys being outside, biking, walking, art, crotchet, and coloring in her free time! She has ten hunting dogs, two kids, and a husband!
Mr. Radabaugh
Mr. Radabaugh recently made a comeback to the Hayward Community School District as our new assistant principal. If you didn’t know, he used to be Dean of Students at the Intermediate School
five years ago! After a few years in Drummond, he’s back in Hayward! He is from Elsworth, WI known as the “Cheese Curd Capital.” He loves working at Hayward High School, and enjoys interacting with students, and getting to know everyone.
Mrs. Stephens
Mrs. Stephens is a new teacher. Mrs. Stephens is in the Special Education department. This is her 3rd year of teaching. She comes to us from Iowa. Mrs. Stephens teaches Freshman Success, Consumer Math, English 9 and 10, English Interventions, and has a Resource. Mrs. Stephens is married with 3 grown adult children and 3 grown step-children. Almost a modern day Brady Bunch.. Mrs. Stephens enjoys spending her time driving her UTV on the trails, watching 49ers football games, yoga, and reading. Mrs. Stephens really enjoys her position here at HHS. She is working to get to know more students each day.
Mrs. Zimmer
Mrs. Zimmer has been working in education for 26 years between Hayward, Flambeau, and Ladysmith. This is her comeback as a Hayward employee! Mrs. Zimmer is from Hayward and graduated from HHS! She enjoys interacting with all students, from freshman to seniors. So far, Mrs. Zimmer is loving Hayward. She says that it is a beautiful school with lots of opportunities for students and it has very nice and qualified staff. Mrs. Zimmer has four kids, a husband, and a golden doodle named Finn!
