If you, your friends, or any family members are looking for a new Christmas movie to watch this year, I’ve got the movie for you. Meet Me Next Christmas is a romantic comedy about a girl who finds herself in an airport in New York on Christmas. She meets two handsome men, and even though she’s in a relationship, she has a good conversation with both guys. She gave one of the guys a sampling of a Pentatonix Christmas Eve concert, and he was hooked. So, he came up with the idea that if each of them is single next year at Christmas, they should meet up at that very concert. It was left to fate if they would ever meet again… Almost a year later, she goes home early to surprise her boyfriend with dinner, only to find him cheating on her. I don’t want to spoil too much, but let’s just say she turns into a hopeless romantic who is willing to do anything for a ticket to that concert in hope of connecting with that “dream man” once again.
This movie is perfect for a family night, when you just wanna stay at home sipping on hot cocoa. It’s funny and it teaches you a lot about focusing on the now instead of dreaming about the future. To me, it really brought out the Christmas spirit, not only because it takes place during Christmas, but the comedy within is very jolly. The plot is the main part I liked about the movie.
