Valentine’s Day is around the corner and you’re looking to impress someone without breaking the bank, how about a movie night at home? Set up comfy blankets, pillows, make some popcorn and hot cocoa, and a selection of your favorite movies. It’s a fun, intimate way to spend Valentine’s Day without spending too much. Plus, you get to control the remote.
Even when it’s too cold to do stuff around town, you could always pick out a recipe to try and spend the evening cooking or baking together. It’s a nice way to bond, and you get to enjoy a delicious meal or dessert at the end.
How about a dinner out? While there are some expensive restaurants in Hayward, there are also many places that won’t break the bank! Plus many local restaurants have a special menu for the night. It’s always nice to have a meal out without having to cook or clean up yourself!
If you need some extra inspiration on what to do with your special someone this Friday night, consider following in the footsteps of some HHS teachers:
Mr. Brennan said he’d like a kid-free dinner with his wife, and go to a Bucks game after. Mr. Phillips said a quiet night at home with a home-cooked meal would be ideal (and we hope Mrs. Phillips agrees!). Ms. Stark said she’d like to go out to dinner and then have a nice movie night with homemade popcorn. Mrs. Eytcheson said she’d like to have a fancy dinner, and she would love to receive a house plant as a gift. Mrs. Alcoe said a nice dinner at home would be ideal, and that some nice chocolate would be the perfect gift. Señora Hansen said a home-cooked meal with good company would be the ideal way to spend her Valentine’s Day. Finally, Mrs. Chucka said a nice dinner at home, with flowers, and to watch Sweet Home Alabama on the couch would be the best gift.
