This month is not too busy for the Spanish club, but not too slow either. Señora Hansen and the students of the club plan on making a couple of trips during this spooktacular month. Señora plans on bringing two groups of students to help out at the Primary School on October 31st. This time of year is also very fun for the club because they get to go out and help the second graders collect candy down Main Street.
Other members of the club are volunteering to help out during the skating party for the fifth graders. This will be taking place on November 1st. During this time volunteers help tie skates and also skate on the ice with the fifth graders if they’d like. They help chaperone the group. Señora’s classes are also going to celebrate Dia de los Muertos. There are going to be fun crafts and treats for this celebration. Other plans are to help out during Red Ribbon Week. Other than that, Spanish Club is slowly starting up. There will be more activities during Christmas time!
