The Junior Board has been very busy putting together fundraising ideas for their prom on April 18, 2026. They have been making a lot of progress with fundraising and have been doing events such as bagging groceries at Marketplace and selling popcorn for a shared profit with Salty Girls. A group also worked at Canes Christmas selling candy cane reindeer and personalized letters from Santa, sold hot drinks at The Lot, and are planning many more fundraising ideas. Junior Prom has always been an event to look forward to, especially with it being just a short time until graduation for the seniors, and around a month left until summer break.
Junior Class Board President, Liliana Valdez-Gorney, said, “I am so honored to be Junior Class President! We’ve participated in a few successful prom fundraisers so far this year, and there will be more to come. I also want to give credit to Annie Hardaker and Maddy Brown for their dedication to our class, we are endlessly thankful!” She continued by saying that if anyone is interested in helping Junior Class Board, either monetarily or by volunteering, please don’t hesitate to contact her.
If you are a junior and would like to help plan events, please don’t hesitate to join our group. The Board meets during homeroom on black days in Ms. Skweres room, #1417. It is a great group of people to be with, and you are helping make decisions for your Junior Prom, Senior Class Trip, and Project Graduation!
