Our National Honor Society is proud to once again host the Memorial Blood Centers’ Blood Drive on March 24th, 2026. We are inviting everyone from students to staff who are above the age of 16 years old to consider donating blood to help aid our community.
According to the Red Cross, every 2 seconds, somebody in the United States needs blood. Instances that require blood are those in surgeries, undergoing cancer treatment, or those in accidents. One donation of blood can help save up to 3 lives, and the blood donated here stays in our community.
Donating blood is safe and quick, which can be attested by our very own Mrs. Duffy, who donates blood 5 times every year! She’s stated that she does it because her father used to donate blood, so she does it in his stead now that he is no longer able to. For first-time donors who are nervous, the Memorial Blood Drive is known to be excellent with first-time donors, with their team of patient and trained professionals there to guide you through the entire process.
Sign up for a time slot and pick up permission forms in front of Mrs. Eytcheson’s room to help aid those in our community. We hope to see you there!
