On October 19th, 14 HHS students played with 140 of their peers from other schools in the Tri-State Honor Concert Band. Students who attended are: Isabel Beulieu, Aneya Brock, Harrison Cooper, Grason Crust, Stephanie Galde, Avigayle Hanson, Michael Nichols, Piper Riehm, Ean Roberts, Alexis Shober, George Taylor, Helen Thomspon, Cera White, and Troy White. 
Tri-State Jazz Band was on October 12th. Only 32 students were selected to participate, and six were from Hayward High School. They are: Ethan Cranford, Grason Crust, Gabe Hanson, George Taylor, Joe Tans, and Troy White.
